Hi, I’m Christine Woods.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist.
I believe everyone is the expert of their own life, and my therapy style reflects this core value. I aim to create a warm, relaxed, and direct space for clients, where we can collaborate on actionable plans that feel right for you. While we will explore feelings and personal history, my focus is always on offering real solutions and practical guidance you can implement today and into the future.
Therapy with me isn’t about just talking for the sake of talking - it’s about making meaningful progress together.
I create a judgment-free space where you can express yourself freely and openly. I’ve heard it all and there’s nothing you can say that will surprise me. My goal is to make sure you feel safe enough to be completely yourself, so we can work together on the best path forward.
My Approach
-
I believe a great therapeutic relationship is based on being real and authentic with one another.
-
I know my clients are ready for a change when they reach out to me. I give my clients tools and skills to implement quickly, to starting working towards real growth and healing.
-
I know your story likely includes feelings of shame, confusion, pain, and distress to name just a few. Creating a safe space is fundamental in this work, and I will always treat you with respect and compassion.
-
As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, I have the training and direct experience in working with complex cases and incorporating a wide variety of interventions and treatment plans. My intense focus in working with this clinical population gives me confidence I can assist you in your journey.
-
I am deeply committed to fostering a safe and inclusive space for all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or cultural background. As an LGBT ally, I understand there are unique challenges that LGBTQ+ individuals may face, especially in relation to sexual health, and I work to ensure my practice is affirming and supportive. Additionally, I prioritize cultural humility and actively consider how race, ethnicity, and societal factors shape each client's experience.
